A weekend retreat of Yoga, Creativity and Transformation

with Rixie Dennison

Spring is a time for transformation, coming out of hibernation and reaping the benefits

of stillness that winter brings.  Join me for a weekend of Yoga, meditation, and

rejuvenation of the Spirit.  "Open up" by creating your own Mandala* and let your inner creator flow!

 

Dates:          Friday, March 28 ~ Sunday, March 30, 2008

 

Arriving:   Friday by 5:00 p.m.  ~  Leaving: Sunday 12 Noon

 

Where:       Sevenoaks Pathwork Center is a rural, non-profit retreat center.  It is an easy

                   2-hour drive southwest of Washington, D.C.  The 130 wooded acres include a grove

                   of ancient oak trees, a beautiful glass-enclosed Yoga center, comfy-cozy accommodations, a river, a medicine wheel, and nature trails for walking.

     Fee:           $300  ~ This includes two nights lodging, 5 meals, beginning with dinner Friday evening & ending with breakfast Sunday morning.  There will be plenty of Yoga, meditation, creativity and time to “just be.”  $275 ~ for the first 10 registrants!!

 

Extras:       There will also be massage, reflexology and Reiki available during the

                   weekend for a separate charge.

 

*Mandala is the Sanskrit word for wheel or circle. Mandalas are circular designs that reflect the wholeness of the person creating them. According to Carl Jung, “a mandala is the psychological expression of the totality of the self" (1973: 20). Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist, discovered the significance of mandalas through his own inner work.

A teacher at Sun and Moon Yoga Studios for 7 years, Rixie is known for her gentle, warm and welcoming style.  She is a holistic personal and business coach who uses this medium in creative workshops and with clients to help them express their inner Self, explore their desires, create potential, and manifest dreams.  Feet are also one of her passions and practices Reflexology from her home in Northern Virginia.
