 There is research targeting Yoga Nidra, Meditation and Restorative Yoga as THE way to help with the Metabolic syndrome which is the result of chronic stress.  Metabolic syndrome is a cluster of conditions including increased blood pressure, a high blood sugar level, excess body fat around the waist and abnormal cholesterol levels that occur together and increase your risk of heart disease, stroke and diabetes.
